What would a prequel of The Water Tower be about?

    I think that a prequel of the Water Tower would be about when they are just building the tower because in the Water Tower the tower is very old.

    the first book before this book could be about how the water tower was made and how/why the all the mums and dads have the eye looking thing on there hands and hats.I also want to know how long the water tower has been up on the hill and why it was put up there

    If there was a book number one of the water tower that I have read ,I think it will be about the worker discovering what the water tower would look like and what it will have in it extra to help the community .Then they will do something to make sure people now because if they didn't it will seem to them that it just somewhere you can swim.

    i think that it would be about aliens because on the front cover the water tower looked like a spaceship and on the last pages the people and Bubba seemed very different from the start. he was like someone diffrent.

    i think the previous book could've been about the aliens built the water tower so that the people could swim in it.
    the aliens could've put odd chemicals in the water so that they can control the humans and to make them turn into EVIL PEOPLE!!!!!

      What if they were an only child,there parents had no siblings,there parents parents were dead were dead,they were dead and once the water tower was build the person who made it died.

      One thing:

      Do we KNOW that the Watertower is evil?!?
      If anything i think the prequel would answer the millions of questions left floating about by The Watertower and if it doesn't, well it's messed UP

      The only way to find out will hopefully be the PREQUEL!

    I think that the prequel could be around the time of when The Watertower was being built and who has built it. Then it could go to when it was finished and the town back then and maybe it could sort of explain why no-one in Preston knows when the Watertower was built and who had built it.

    i reckon that maybe the prequel would be that the transformation of everyone else or maybe even a ufo landing that disguised the ufo as a water tower because if you look a the front cover of the book you will see the water tower but the stand looks like a ufo beam wich is what i think would be the prequel but this book is so in depth that it would take at least a week of blog to get all the ideas to think of the prequel and still not be sure so this is just few of my many ideas for a prequel i will keep you updated with more as i go on please comment on my text i do not min :)

    I think if there was a prequel for "The Water Tower" it would be about how the first people came to the town and discovered the water tower wondering where it came from and desided to go in and got pesezt and as the town population grew everyone went int the water tower after them having the same affect. Or it might also be about who made the water tower or how it got there and why it causes the people to act really strange and weird!!!!!

    in the book there is a claw in nearly on every page so maybey when buba went into the bush the claw could of hipnotized buba. eliza and i discovered that there are was antenia/receiver (what ever its called)on nearly every page i disagree with everyone who said that there are aliens in the book because it never said anything about aliens. i also diagree with reece because buba was possesed out of the water. i know this because in the picture on the page with bubas face he was out of the water and in his eye you could see the claw. the caw was in the backround OUTSIDE the water NOT inside the water.

    this is just another prequel idea so i was thinking how maybe the people may not be aliens or even POSSESED! they might just be your average joe and have nothing weird going on its just the author has cleverly directed you in the wrong direction with the text and the illustrations once again please comment and give me a few pointers it doesnt hurt!!! liam out

    i think the prequel of the water tower is not the same people but just the average people that will never go to the water tower because they saw the people that went into the water tower then after they went out they were possesed

I agree with you Liam because if a UFO came i think that is why the water tower is there and it actually does look like the beam of a UFO at the bottom of the water tower.

    i think the prequel to the water tower would be about how the people would get possessed if they even are and who made the water tower and how the water got into the tower.I also wonder how all the people are possessed and why all the people are always looking at the water tower.i think they are all looking at the water tower because they are wondering who made it or who it got there.i think it would also be about all the people drinking the water and there something in it that made them look like they are possessed.

    my favorite hidden part is how everyone is looking at the water tower.They might be looking at the water tower because they might have seen spike run done from the water tower and might be wondering why has he came from the water tower. I wounder why the first guy/man on the page is holding a pitch fork while looking at the water tower.

    What I think a hidden message is in the book is to not go into something that is unknown. For example, Bubba went into the water tower and when he came out, he had the symbol on his hand.

    My favorite hidden message was when the people in the town was under a spell or something because when Spike went to get clothes for Bubba they were looking at the water tower. I wonder why the people in the town had freaking eyes and looked scary.

    I have one question that i was dying to ask when bubba gets possesd by the water tower at the beginning bubba said that his mum said he is not allowed to go into the water tower but spikes mum didn't care bubba ended up not listening to his mum and got possesd but spikes mum didn't care but spike didn't get possesd but I'm not sure they know about the iris organization I'm not sure any one knows i also think you get possesd cause the water is always not clean as if there is a poison in the water tower to get you possesd and also i think the organization wants to rule the world and the potion makes you old helpless and weak so when they take over you can basically do nothing so if everyone is weak helpless and old no one can stop them from taking over the world and doing anything they want by free will.

    MY FAVORITE PART IN THE BØØK WAS WHEN THE PEOPLE WERE ALL LOOKING AT THE ONE DIRECTION FACING THE WATER TOWER AND THERE IS SO MUCH THINGS AND HIDDEN MESSAGES IN THE STORY THAT YOU COULD BE THINKING FOR A DAY AND ALL THESE THINGS ARE PRETTY COOL LIKE THE TRITANS LAMP POST AND THE GUYS IN THE POOL ROOM AND THE MARKS ON THERE HANDS AND ALL SORTS OF THINGS LIKE THAT

    I think that my favourite hidden message in the Watertower is about how the Watertower was able to take over Bubba I mean if Beneath The Surface just showed this then there would be a whole new range of questions. My 2nd is that with Spike when he gets taken over in Beneath The Surface when he drinks the water I think there is a message there that says that the Watertower will posses anyone from Preston sooner or later in their life. My 3rd is (well this one is not really a hidden message or a message at all) that Spike was sort of freaked out when Bubba's personality changed after coming out of the Watertower so I wonder what Spike found out between The Watertower and Beneath The Surface that made him want to be possesed by The Watertower. Maybe you get superpowers that make you superhuman. Or Spike was the last non possesed person in the world and he was humanities last hope and instead he thought well if you can't beat em, join em and he then became possesed. I hope that there is another book that explains what happened inbetween The Watertower and Beneath The Surface.

    HIDDEN MESSAGES IN THE BOOK:

    one of the hidden messages in the second book.......
    on the last page in the book(when we looked at the pictures)it has a picture of broken glasses falling down in what looks like water.from reading a bit of the book today we know that the glasses belong to spike. so i wonder what happens to him.

    HIDDEN MESSAGES:
    Spike gets infected or gets the disease that everyone else in the town has or he might die. Everyone in the town was evil and wanted to make spike infected or one of them and know who he really is.

    If you look on the page where the person is submerged in the water and you look on the rocks you will see the Watertower symbol and inside that there will be a pair of eyes so this can confirm the alien theory. also the theory of the Watertower taking over the whole world can be confirmed because the Watertower symbol is everywhere, on every page, on everyone.
