The last page of the story infers that stories can create imagination when you read them and take you to places you have never been before.
Which books have you read where this happened?

Q1. The book i read was north wood because it said the she was traped in the forest and the took me to places and i imagined her in the forest with black loins being scared and didn't know what to do.

ReplyDeleteI have read the book Imagine a Day and Imagine a Night and i think the author is trying to reflect the picture e.g one picture looked like people making a bridge with there body and the another one looked a bit different but you could see what was the same.e.g the author is trying to reflect the two pictures.
the book I like and takes me places is Conspiracy 365 august were he is kidnapped and buried alive in a coffin. then his phone rang and answered it and told his friend he was in a coffin dieing.So his friend came and saved him. he woke up and was in a prison hospital because the police found him

Or perhaps you can describe a certain part of a book you read where you could really picture what was happening.

Imagine a day is a book where you really have to look at the illustrartion and have to make a connection with the writing because they have a really have a intense meaning to it beacause when you take a good look at it you can tell much more about the book and it helps understand the book more . I think that this book is suitable for primary children because they will get the point and meaning much better . I think this is a great book for developed readers .
ReplyDeleteThe book/s I thought was really easy to picture was the Percy Jackson series because when it said that Percy blew up a school in the second book,(The Sea Of Monsters) I could imagine a massive explosion and a strange, huge cannibal.

There are really strange pictures in this book and thats what I like about it because there strange but at the same time the pictures mach the text no matter what even if u never looked at the book i mean it might be hard but its easy to mach the pictures to the text even if its your first time

ReplyDeletei think that imagine a day is a great book because it gets us to imagine and its also a great book for young kids because like i said it gets us all to imagine. Maybe kids will make their own book like a imagine a morning. This book makes me think alot. If young kids make their own imagine a morning or something they can imagine and just feel free.

The book that I could really picture is 'The Serpents Shadow' which is the last installment of The Kane Chronicles.
ReplyDeleteThe part that I could picture was when Carter and Sadie had to fight sphinxes in the Dallas Museum after the chaos lord took control of them. Another part that I could picture was when they were standing next to a lake of lava.
